1983 Great Shape Barbie. Made in Mexico. Variant similar to the made in Hong Kong. She has darkish brown eyebrows and orange lips. Was a bit upset when I got her instead of the other Mexican Great Shape version which I have not seen elsewhere.

Finally! I’ve got my hands on this very rare Mexican Great Shape Barbie. She has the usual dark brown eyebrows and deep periwinkle blue headband. Her face paint is just perfection.

I took another chance on blurry photos of a Philippine Twirly Curls Barbie on Ebay. And had a pleasant surprise when I unpacked her. A variation that is very similar to the Taiwanese. Not quite exactly the version I wanted but I’m not disappointed either
