May 26, 2016: Atomic wiggle dress! This pattern is from Gertie's first book made up in a brown atomic print cotton. Worn with b.a.i.t. Heiress pumps, a vintage Lisner bracelet (so sparkly in real life 💎!) and a vintage dress clip.

May 25, 2016: Light blue eyelet blouse. I think this is a highly modified Bow-Tied Blouse from Gertie's book, but it's from years ago...so who knows! Worn with a vintage bracelet and stick pin.

May 20, 2016: I'm crazy for border prints! The pattern is from Gertie's Ultimate Dress Book and is made in a Gertie designed cotton sateen border print. Worn with a vintage Coro brooch, a vintage bracelet, and b.a.i.t. Selena flats.

May 19, 2017: Polka dot Mimi Blouse. Worn with b.a.i.t. Harlan pumps and a vintage red stone brooch which looks handmade.

May 18, 2016: Portrait Blouse in Robert Kaufman Stargazers 100% cotton. So this top turned out a little nuts... I used red bias binding to finish all the hems then decided to add a crazy pocket.

May 11, 2016: Another shirtdress...I love 'em💗! The pattern is from Gertie's New Book for Better Sewing and is made of a highly textured linen blend. Worn with a super cute vintage dachshund brooch. Woof.

May 10, 2016: Simplicity 2154 pencil skirt. This is one my most simple and most often worn makes! It's made of some weird stretch purple bengaline and I added pockets (of course!). Worn with a deco style brooch and grey b.a.i.t. Harrow oxfords.

May 3, 2016: This blouse is based on the keyhole variation of Gertie's Portrait Blouse. There are rows of gathering stitches at both shoulders that shape it and a button back.

May 2: Simplicity 1692- I was obviously very inspired by the pattern art! This blouse is actually not well made and the fabric is not aging well so this pattern is in the make-again pile.
