pds6588: I noticed during our last snow storm these wild turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) in the back yard eating spilled bird seed from my feeder.I was fascinated because we dont see these in abundance in the North West where i am from.
pds6588: I saw this Luna moth last summer resting on a fence at work and was amazed by its size and color. I found out they are common here on the east coast, but I have never seen one until now. They have a very short life span of about only two weeks.
pds6588: Surprise… I found this at work at camp Lejeune. First thought was it was a domestic plant, and invasive species. Boy was I wrong! Took me a long time to figure out what it was… Passion flower. Not to be confused with
