LOAD29 - I can't believe I have completed this challenge. I'm thoroughly exhausted but very happy to have made so many layouts and told so many stories! This uses the Ali Edwards Spark story kit and is a lift of one of Ali's layouts for this kit.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD28 - a very simple layout using products from the Ali Edwards Gather Story Kit. I like to keep my layouts simple where I have a longer story to tell.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD25 - Language. I chose to write a longer story for this one about an issue DS had with his words last year. I kept the embellishment simple. Supplies from the Like For Ever Subscriber Special featuring Cocoa Vanilla. Sketch from Jen Schow's new class
nccxxx2011:
LOAD27 - Geography and some photos of us last Summer enjoying the rides and other activities at Southend-on-Sea, our local seaside town. I have tons of photos and these are from different dates which I like. Supplies are from BG Vivienne; sketch is SG.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD26 - more London landmarks. We had an afternoon in Trafalgar Square last summer - DS was thrilled by the metal man sitting on thin air! Supplies are all from the special subscriber kit by Like For Ever featuring Cocoa Vanilla Free Spirit.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD23 - this is for the boat prompt. I don't have any boat stories that I can think of, but I did immediately think of this photo of DS that has been in my 'special photos' pile for way too long. All products from the Ali Edwards Heart Story Kit.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD24 - Sport. We're not really a sporty family but I was pleased to find these photos of us teaching DS how to pay mini golf, two years apart! Supplies from Fancy Pants and sketch from Jen Schow's Ready Sketch Go class.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD20 - Geography prompt. I chose some more local geography for this one and our first family holiday to Southwold - east coast of the UK. I've used old MME papers and a sketch from the 6x6 sketch book from Scrapbook Generations.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD22 - colour challenge. I thought I would get bored of red, white and blue but I'm loving it! Supplies are from MME, Amy Tan, Bella Blvd and Ali Edwards. Sketch from Scrapbook Generations.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD21 - another layout that's been on my mind to do for several years but have never found the 'perfect' papers etc. I'm pleased with the result and even more pleased to have the story in my album and not just in my notebooks!
nccxxx2011:
LOAD17 - an 11 photo spread of our recent visit to the Transport Museum in Covent Garden, London. This uses the design from the November episode of 4x6 Photo Love by Shimelle. I've used papers from the new Starshine collection, plus a bit of Bella Blvd.

nccxxx2011:
LOAD19 - this week for landmarks I revisited Disney but focussed on the country landmarks in World Showcase. Tired tonight so chose to do a pocket page spread with Ali Edwards Story Kits - the layout came together so quickly - less than hour!
nccxxx2011:
LOAD18 - my favourite word for the language prompt! Using supplies from the Like For Ever kit - Wish List, and a design from Page Maps.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD16 - You Just Love Playing Cars. I may have gone overboard with the stars but they are my favourite! I've used Shimelle's new Starshine and Amy Tan's Better Together collections for this one. Sketch from Scrapbook Generations.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD15 - Go Swing! A really simple layout for the colour prompt focussing in the stars in the Australian flag. I used a sketch from an old BPC class and Distress Inks. The stamps are from a UK company called Clearly Besotted!
nccxxx2011:
LOAD14 - Ice Cream. What day out is complete without one? My son and are accomplished at the 'selfie with ice cream' shot now! I used a sketch from Scrapbook Generation and papers from Jillibean Soup, Simple Stories and Crate Paper Craft Market/Poolside.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD13 and back to Disney for the geography prompt. I used the May episode of 4x6 photo love by Shimelle for the design and supplies from Simple Stories Hello Spring (I think!) - it was one of the mini kits.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD12 - Up it Goes! The day the scaffolding went up was a landmark day in six months of planning. I used an 8 photo sketch from Scrapbook Generations and adapted it. Old papers from Scenic Route and WRMK. Newer products from Ali Edwards Build kit.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD11 - Stopping for a Chinwag. I love these photos of me chatting with the conductor of the Knight Bus in WWoHP at Universal Orlando. The photos are heavy with purple which went well with this mint paper from the new MME collection. Scraplift of GG.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD10 - I focussed on homegrown culture for this and what is more British than fish 'n' chips on the sea front? I used a sketch from Scrapbook Generations and old old papers from MME and rub ons from Kaisercraft.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD9 and my first double page of the month! As soon as I heard trains, my head was overloaded with ideas - trains are a huge part of our life thanks to this little boy. I've wrote down some other ideas for future layouts while the topic was on my mind.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD8 - so I didn't do the red/white colour theme but I did immediately think of this when I listened to the Canada prompt! The supplies are old - BG Wander, FP Home for Christmas and some SS Basics papers. Scraplift of a Shimelle design.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD7 - First Dole Whip... I've been going to WDW for 28 years on and off, and last year was the first time I had a Dole Whip. I'm hooked! Everything they say is true and simply must try one if you ever go. Scraplift from a page by Crafty Jen Schow.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD6 - I decided to stay a little closer to home with the Geography prompt. This is a scraplift of an As It Happens layout from Shimelle. Everything is from Jen Hadfield DIY Home. This is me and my husband the year before our son was born!
nccxxx2011:
LOAD5 (finally!) - Landmarks - the background is a cut file I made with the silhouette and backed with papers from Jen Hadfield Home Made. Flair and die cuts from Fancy Pants Happy Place; they were made for each other!
nccxxx2011:
LOAD4 - I'm a day behind due to yoga last night but planning to catch up at the weekend. The language prompt inspired this layout on my son's first word, a story I've been meaning to scrap for ever. Inspired by a layout from Jen Schow but I can't link!
nccxxx2011:
LOAD3 - Shake. I've been wanting to get these photos in my Disney album for a while - it is my son shaking his stuff with the dancers outside the Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom! I thought, culture? Dance? Perfect! The papers are from Basic Grey B-side.
nccxxx2011:
LOAD2 - Fly High. The photos aren't great quality as I printed them at home and not on a photo printer, but I as soon as I read today's prompt, I immediately thought of Soarin'! Supplies are mainly from Shimelle's new Starshine collection!
nccxxx2011:
LOAD1 - Eight things I'd do if I had a day to myself in MK. I embraced the red, white, blue colour scheme and paired it with three of my favourite photos from Magic Kingdom.
