midnightcrafts: I started with 1 layer of this fabric to test.
midnightcrafts: This die cuts 9 x 1.5" circles
midnightcrafts: I placed 1 layer of this fabric covering 2 circles
midnightcrafts: I made a 'sandwich' - one cutting pad under the die, and one cutting pad on top of the die. Cutting side up.
midnightcrafts: I put it through my Big Shot
midnightcrafts: It cuts the circles beautifully! There were some threads not cut through, but I clipped it off easily with a pair of scissors. I find the fabric wastage reasonable too.
midnightcrafts: Next, I'm trying it with the layers as you have mailed to me.
midnightcrafts: It passed through the Big Shot with no problems.
midnightcrafts: Again, some threads were not cut through properly, but I snipped them off with the scissors.
midnightcrafts: here's the stack of circles that I made with just one pass through the Big Shot
midnightcrafts: I didn't take care of how the fabrics were folded. I just took the fabrics as-is the way you packed them. And I didn't center them properly. So some circles didn't get cut properly. This is more 'user error' than machine error.
midnightcrafts: again, user error. Pardon the awful Foot shot :p

midnightcrafts: here's me collecting the cut circles from the stack, some circles still had some threads un-cut.
midnightcrafts: from just 1 pass of Big Shot.
midnightcrafts: a very quick way to clean up the die!
midnightcrafts: next, your beautiful organza fabric. You provided 2 stacks of this fabrics. I put them all here. I counted 32 layers in total.
midnightcrafts: A bit of squeeze, but can be done!
midnightcrafts: 32 layers passing through the big shot.
midnightcrafts: again, you get un-cut threads.
