After an evening kid bike ride/adult jog (i.e., parental units running alongside Maya), we had a Parents vs. Kids basketball game. (The parents lost.) Now Dad and the kids are playing Scotland Yard. Mom is pooped. #summer #boardgames #IdealSaturday

The fawn then proceeded to walk right up to our back glass door while J, Maya, and I were standing there. It bumped its nose up against the glass and looked into our house! The room was dim so maybe that helped? After it got darker, it came up to our livi

It's a bit hard to tell, but the fawn is stuck in our lower yard while Mama is in our upper yard. We have steps that go to where Mama is but the poor thing can't figure it out.

It only took me 11 months to clear off our counter/breakfast bar! As we close in on one year in Maryland, I'm slowly -- very, very slowly -- finishing unpacking.
