COLD SPRING HIGH POINT I was walking to the park and took a turn that required me to climb a hill similar to those on the other side of the river. When I got up there I was glad I did it.

COLD SPRINGS When you get through the woods of the park you reach a beach that was to me the big attraction. What you get there is a world class panoramic view that is different every time the sun moves. I took the train up from NYC a half dozen times.

MOHONK - They built the place in stages so the architecture changes from one building to another. There are no televisions in the whole place. Getting away from TV is part of the concept of the place.

MOHONK - I didn't stay at the hotel but I had lunch there and it was very good. There is a trail around the lake and an observation tower looking down on it.

MOHONK - This resort - Hotel is built on the shore of a lake on top of a Mountain. The lake was gouged out by the glacial movement.
