On 5 March 2009, War on Want held its second Comedy Gig at Shepherds Bush Empire which was filled to the brim with supporters. This three hour laugh-fest was hosted by the legendary Daniel Kitson

Mark Thomas is very well known as a performer since 1985. He has toured the UK and abroad, has made seven series of his own show for Channel 4, worked as a comic, an activist and a writer
