To get comfortable with the hyenas, at first I feed them by hand. A piece of meat is put on a stick.

In the historical city of Harar spotted hyenas have been around for more than 500 years. One fellow, to stop the hyenas from attacking his livestock, started to feed them. His son now feeds them, while locals and foreigners can watch or join in.
