Greg James Wade: Moraine Lake amidst the Valley of the Ten Peaks
Greg James Wade: Moraine Lake. On the second day the Larch trees and I were whipped by strong winds. It made for some nice cloud backdrops.
Greg James Wade: By the azure blue of Moraine Lake.
Greg James Wade: 5:52am, sunrise in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, reflected by Moraine Lake.

Greg James Wade: I detour off highway AB-93 to drive AB-11, not expecting to find Abraham Lake so pretty. An artificial lake and Alberta's largest reservoir, it takes the blue color of other glacial lakes in the area.
Greg James Wade: Camping by Abraham Lake. To my surprise there are two official free campgrounds, plus a handful of unmarked gravel roads with many other camping spots. Here is where I spend my first night.
Greg James Wade: Car camping by Abraham Lake, Alberta
Greg James Wade: The campsites at Abraham Lake have no services. Here is a type of toilet I've never seen before, allowing you to look into the eyes of a grizzly bear as you poop yourself.
Greg James Wade: Mountain goat molting, losing the thick winter coat for summer. Jasper National Park.
Greg James Wade: While trekking Mount Edith Cavell (3363m) I walk by three Marmots, a type of large squirrel. All three allow me to get close to them, though I did not get to hear their unique whistle. Look at that luxurious fur coat!
Greg James Wade: Driving through Sunwapta Pass, highway 93 Alberta.
Greg James Wade: A glimpse of terrain along highway 93 connecting Banff and Jasper National Parks.
Greg James Wade: Mount Robson, highest peak in the Canadian Rocky Mountains at 3954 meters, with pink and purple lupine flowers.
Greg James Wade: Kinney Lake, on the side of Mount Robson, a nice day trek. I think the peak is Whitehorn Mountain.
Greg James Wade: A swirling Aurora behind mom's house in Hay River, NWT. The bright 'star' in the middle of the swirl is Jupiter. Best capture of September 4.
Greg James Wade: Dancing Aurora behind ma's house, with Jupiter as the brightest 'star'. Best capture of September 5. Hay River, Northwest Territories, Canada.
Greg James Wade: Testing car camper 2.0 on the shore of Kootenay Lake
Greg James Wade: Can't get enough of that Sugar Crisp! Lost Ledge, Kootenay Lake.
Greg James Wade: Close encounters of the moose kind. 10 feet away from a young cow.
Greg James Wade: Moose crosses the Skyline walking trail, Nova Scotia.
Greg James Wade: Hanging out with a tween female moose for an hour, Skyline Trail, Nova Scotia.
Greg James Wade: Stepping through the portal. Sandstone arch of Medford Beach, Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia
Greg James Wade: Paddys Island is accessible at low tide. A great excuse to stomp around in the mud for a few hours. Bay of Fundy, Medford Beach, Nova Scotia.
Greg James Wade: Pitcher party, sarracenia purpurea, carnivorous plants waiting to liquidate and eat unsuspecting victims. Kind of like a mini Sarlacc pit.
Greg James Wade: Sandbanks Provincial Park has seven kilometers of beaches and great lookouts, nice way to spend a day. Burgeo, southern Newfoundland.
