Very similar to Kolkata's ghats, the Veraval area is also very famous for ghats - many people get cremated here and it is considered very auspicious to have the last rites done here.

The Open Air theater has a normal cinema hall also - just in case you need more privacy or if you don't own a car - but it is wonderful to just sit there.

As they say, there are many jyothirlingams in India - some of them are inside the sea and are visible only during the low tide. Jyothirlingams are naturally occuring lingams, and lingam is the representation of Lord Shiva.

The drive-in(Open-air) theater is a huge crowd puller drawing in lots of families - gujaratis are very family oriented people and love taking out time every weekend to catch up on food and movies

People get chairs, mats, blankets and even beds ! Anything and everything is allowed here except alcohol, but hey, that's like banned in the whole state :) so any bother anyway. Open air drive-in theaters are highly family-centric getaways..
