*April*: Hey sunshines!
*April*: "Mommy, for my birthday tomorrow I want a chocolate cake with farm animals on it and the good kind of icing" It's not fancy kid, but it tastes good, it's made with love and meets your criteria. And there's no fondant on it.
*April*: The Great American Spotted Baby. The rash/blisters now cover 70+% of his body, even including the inside of his ears, mouth, and diaper area. He is one cranky little pumpkin.
*April*: I would really like to get up, but I am trapped by two sweetly napping creatures.
*April*: Turning 10 months old is exhausting.
*April*: Hiking to Miners Falls in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
*April*: I taught the boys how to catch tadpoles today. Pure joy.
*April*: It feels like home.
*April*: Official Yooper Welcome Guide
*April*: Maple ginger glazed salmon with watercress parsnip salad. Delicious. http://www.blueapron.com/recipes/maple-ginger-glazed-salmon-with-watercress-parsnip-salad
*April*: "But I'm NOT tired!" Claro que si x 3.
*April*: On the menu tonight: dungeness crab ravioli with asparagus, mushrooms and a garlic kalamata balsamic cream reduction. I love relaxing nights at home cooking with my love.
*April*: Jealous, much? The baby's new car is a hit with his older brothers.
*April*: This big Texas hair will be back home in Dallas in a few hours.
*April*: Baby wearing during our hike and then a clumsy run on uneven wet pavement means I can barely move. Muscles I didn't even realize existed hurt. I'm utterly exhausted but find even the mere thought of climbing the stairs daunting.
*April*: The first day it's been warm enough to go on a hike. Sadly, most of the trails were still pretty ice covered.
*April*: Are all cats jerks, or just ours?
*April*: Moët, blood orange bitters and strawberry rock candy.
*April*: Startled when I walked through the dining room as I hadn't placed him there.
*April*: Keeping Daddy's side of the bed warm for the next few days while he's in Chicago.
*April*: Pirate Scout.
*April*: It's only the 3rd, and I'm already running out of ideas for Scout. Was in bed before I remembered he hadn't been relocated.
*April*: Poor child. Around 85% of the hair he was born with has fallen out in the most unfortunate pattern. It appears to be growing back in much lighter.
*April*: Hello, Pilgrim.
*April*: Little smack talker.
*April*: Have managed to trick the older two into going to bed before 8 with promises that they can play a geography game on the iPads. Solo parenting night WIN thanks to my nerdy children.
*April*: Rodeo jazz hand.
*April*: "No pictures, please. Can't you see I'm busy riding a horse? Cheese."
*April*: Brunchin' ain't easy.
*April*: Four generations. My grandfather's middle name was passed to my dad and now to my son.
