Tysasi: First pry the nameplate off
Tysasi: Then unscrew and remove the retainer for the top tab
Tysasi: Unscrew a hex-nut from the main shaft
Tysasi: And then you can lift out a retainer and washer
Tysasi: A screw holds the shifters together
Tysasi: Once you remove the screw you can lift off the downshift lever
Tysasi: There's another nut and washer underneath the downshift lever
Tysasi: The washer is under the nut
Tysasi: And now you can remove the sleeve that fits around the rachets
Tysasi: And start to see the masses of solidified grease that fill the shifter
Tysasi: A black plastic collar holds down one end of a rachet spring
Tysasi: And keeps it from tearing out the Flightdeck wiring
Tysasi: Another spring helps with the upshift lever
Tysasi: Cleaned and fitted back into place before I forget
Tysasi: Lift off the switch mechanism for the Flightdeck electronics
Tysasi: This frees the rachet spring that sits under the Flightdeck wiring
Tysasi: You can also see the solidified grease that's clogging the shifter
