The Bees: For those not following me elsewhere, words of love and thanks, and an explanation of what happened to our sweet dog. Our hearts are aching.
The Bees: Goodbye, sweet Nike. We loved you so very, very, very much.
The Bees: Somehow he still looks at us with love. He's up to 17 seizures since 1 pm (it's now 4 am) and every moment he's not seizing, he's crying. I'm so afraid were going to lose him.
The Bees: Going home with Valium and phenobarbital and crossed fingers. Nike had 6 partial seizures today... none since the meds, thankfully.
The Bees: This poor guy has us worried. He's had two seizures this afternoon. Fine one minute, then shaking, drooling, and clattering his teeth the next. Terrifying. And then back to normal soon after!
The Bees: Golden hour.
The Bees: And less than a minute later... on the bed, as he wanted, and out like a light.
The Bees: Nike is about as subtle as a brick when he wants something.
The Bees: Only the best velvet for this boy to sleep on... (I really should have hung up that jacket sooner!)
The Bees: Grateful tonight that the Dog Who Fears Everything isn't bothered in the least by fireworks. #victoriaday #kaboom
The Bees: Nike and Delta make a very pretty, very butt-sniff-y pair.
The Bees: Gorgeous boys on a gorgeous evening!

The Bees: Oh goodness, I love this face. It's a constant joy to know that he has a life of comfort and love now, despite the abuse and neglect in his past. <3
The Bees: It's chilly once the sun goes down, eh, Nike? Good thing we have alllllll the blankets.
The Bees: Have given up on knitting for the evening, and settled in with Nurse Nike to watch some BBC documentary goodness.
The Bees: Wish you could hear the gentle snores coming from this sweet face.
The Bees: Watching for his Person. Note the worry drool tracing down the seat!
The Bees: Nurse Nike, keeping an eye on me and my stomach flu.
The Bees: Nike meets Murdock
The Bees: Nike and I are celebrating an unexpectedly long weekend. Freezing rain means that work is closed so we came back to bed!
The Bees: Hey Nike, do you want to go for a... WAAAAALK?
The Bees: Softness. Love.
The Bees: A perfect quiet end to a very, very long week.
The Bees: Nike got to see his buddy Hayden today! O happy day, calloo, callay!
