the__photographer: At the birthplace of the famous rooster sauce.
the__photographer: in other words, sriracha...
the__photographer: Sara was excited. We even got driven to the factory in our private golf cart
the__photographer: Here we go!
the__photographer: They fly THREE flags at their headquarters
the__photographer: why wait? celebrate now!
the__photographer: sriracha direct from the factory tastes SO much fresher and delicious than the ones you'll find at the store
the__photographer: sriracha friends
the__photographer: are HOT 1's
the__photographer: you can put it on popcorn
the__photographer: in ice cream
the__photographer: even on sriracha!
the__photographer: this is the factory
the__photographer: full of forklifts to move all that good sauce around
the__photographer: this is where it starts. a truck bringing in freshly picked peppers
the__photographer: then they are released into a large pit which smelled AMAZING
the__photographer: if it wasn't a hot vortex of hell I'd consider diving in
the__photographer: the pepper they make the hot sauce from
the__photographer: the air is really intense with pepper heat
the__photographer: beautiful
the__photographer: so they are pulled into the factory on a conveyor belt
the__photographer: and guided along
the__photographer: into a crusher were they are
the__photographer: and come down chutes where they are mixed with some salt
the__photographer: did I mention they make the world's supply of their sriracha here in this factory. if you've tasted it, it first was here.
the__photographer: more delicious ingredients are prepared
the__photographer: then it is placed into large blue barrels
