Amazing plot twists and turns- hard to believe how she conceived this... I feel the movie isn't going to be as good- just from the preview I watched. Book is awesome tho I see why it was made into flick.

Again- she's amazing- her fiction and her memoirs draw you in from page 1. Sigh. What a mind.

Not from the thrift store this time but 'thrifty' all the same-the library has a 'for sale' area, books go for a few bucks each but they have a 50cent shelf too- what a bargain for a buck! 2 good books( pretty sure I read Atonement.def. saw flik)for OPC.

Admittedly at times tedious, as it went on a fantastic story of wonderment- (didn't read life of Pi but read Beatrice & Virgil-a consummate writer. Sending title to Mags, for the chimps.

Just one volume of her 6 vol. memoirs- what an interesting, bold, brave, sassy, intelligent woman, who made a difference through her activism. Her writing is like reading her journal yet extremely well-composed.
