stovak: The one the flophouse is on has been mostly remodeled

stovak: The rooms at the Harlem Flophouse are HUGE and very clean.

stovak: Everywhere you go in the major subway stations, there are people playing music
stovak: There's something about this city that literally surrounds you with personal expression
stovak: The music echos against the steel walls of the stations.
stovak: subway stations are so kewl
stovak: All of the concrete and steel forged several generations back
stovak: The cars themselves are "Heavy rail" so are loud and the brakes squell as they come into the station
stovak: zoomed back to midtown on the a-train
stovak: And we walked to Times Square
stovak: It's every bit as magic as it appears on TV
stovak: The activity and the crush of people
stovak: and the omni-present advertising
stovak: Grand central station is a few blocks east of Times Square
