Alfred Fartknocker: Some sort of Indian Hawk perches in Gurgaon, East of New Delhi, India. I often encounter birds etc, while hanging out shooting aircraft.- so I started a new album for them. If anyone can identify these creatures, please do so.

Alfred Fartknocker: Faithful Swallows Wintered in Africa, but came right back to the nest they built a year ago, and raised four Swallow chicks. Two seen here with Mum or Dad.
Alfred Fartknocker: Resident Swallows at our house in Bulgaria. The cable clips were to help the nest hang on. I put four clips up, so two are working. Marvellous creatures!

Alfred Fartknocker: In the days of the Raj- the British rule of India- well born girls would come out to India to marry British Officers. This frankly beautiful memorial in the chapel at Fort St.George, Madras (now Chennai) commemorates one such Union.
Alfred Fartknocker: This is a common gray Langur monkey- seen at Katra in Jammu & Kashmir, Northern India. These guys are living wild on the mountain. Sometimes known as a Hanuman Langur Monkey.
