0904 is a MiG-17PF preserved inside at the Muzeul Aviatiei in Bucharest, Romania. The PF is 'FRESCO-D' to NATO- an all weather jet with the 'Izumrud' radar in the intake.

Romanias 'Ministry of Emergency Situations' or SMURD, sent two Learjet 75s to BIAS 24. This one is 112 3- quite a striking colour scheme.

This is Romanian AF Mil Mi-8T 03, preserved in the Muzeul Aviatiei in Bucharesti. Looks like some clever chap has added a MiG-21F supersonic underfuselage drop tank to the side of c/n 0326.

Romanian F-16BM 1649 is towed into the static area at BIAS 2024. Most of Romanias F-16s are ex Portugal, but this is 80-3691, a Fokker built jet that flew for Norway as 691 before coming here.

We don't really see the IAR.93 in the UK, but quite a few were made, and known as the Vultur in Romania & the Orao in Yugoslavia. 215 is an IAR.93MB preserved in Colonesti, Romania.

The IAR.99 Soim (Hawk) is a Romanian designed and built light attack jet. #719 took part in the little airshow at Craiova, Romania. This IAR.99C is one of only thirty built.

Romanian AF F-16BM 1649 is one of the most recent arrivals from Norway. Ordered as 80-3691, it flew for the KNL as 691. It's a General Dynamics design, but actually built in the Netherlands by Fokker.

This Romanian IAR.93 Vultur hasn't been seen for years. #239 has been hiding in a hangar at the place where it was built: Craiova, Romania.

This Vultur is #215, a production IAR.93MB preserved at Colonesti, Romania. The type was known as the Orao (Eagle) in Yugoslav service.
