Alfred Fartknocker: Romanian F-16BM 1649 is towed into the static area at BIAS 2024. Most of Romanias F-16s are ex Portugal, but this is 80-3691, a Fokker built jet that flew for Norway as 691 before coming here.
Alfred Fartknocker: We don't really see the IAR.93 in the UK, but quite a few were made, and known as the Vultur in Romania & the Orao in Yugoslavia. 215 is an IAR.93MB preserved in Colonesti, Romania.

Alfred Fartknocker: The IAR.99 Soim (Hawk) is a Romanian designed and built light attack jet. #719 took part in the little airshow at Craiova, Romania. This IAR.99C is one of only thirty built.
