seattlerachel: We are in economy at row 4, but I feel like we're right on top of the business people! This is row 2 & 3. I'm grateful row 3 is empty while my kid works through her kicking obsession. (Advice welcome on that.)
seattlerachel: Hello, Dubrovnik.
seattlerachel: I see what you're up to, cat.
seattlerachel: Dubrovnik's forecast for this weekend has been dismal for days. Twice I tried to check out the city wall walk this afternoon but storms rolled in. I almost shelved the idea altogether, but then I remembered words from my friend @bpsphoto years ago when fa
seattlerachel: More from the city walls. This was a part of the day that made up for lost luggage, or at least made me forget about it briefly. I hope we get our last bag tomorrow! (Swiss Air has a new software system. And their check-in agents, who also coordinate Cr

seattlerachel: So this is what the guidebook author meant by more scenic than the tunnel but narrow two-lane roads with *Adriatic shoulders*. That's a red car passing us on the left. Half the 30-minute drive did not have any stone wall on the right.

seattlerachel: The cat who set up camp under my daughter's chair. Scored some shrimp. #catsoftheMed
seattlerachel: "Remember when mama climbed that bell tower today?" "Yeah! And then you fell off!" Two-year olds. Unreliable narrators.
seattlerachel: Good timing for our departure from Korčula. On a very short ferry to Orebic. Next up, medium ferry to Ploče. Someday I'll take the 4-hour ferry from Korčula Island to Split but not today since our Little Miss doesn't chill well on ferry boats yet.
seattlerachel: The chocolate ice cream is a hit.

seattlerachel: We visited @mayaphotog's great-grandma at Ivan Meštrović's villa and sculpture garden today. (Růžena Zátková was an artist herself and her exhibition at Prague Castle brought us there in 2011 with @mayaphotog and @janetmkincaid.)
seattlerachel: Keeping the seat warm, despite the rain. #catsoftheMed
