+Russ: So, on Saturday we took a tour of Anacortes Brewery

+Russ: It was early and the bar wasn't too busy. I saddled up and took a look at my beer choices

+Russ: I decided on a sampler flight
©
+Russ: I looked at their awards and merchandise as I tackled my sampler
©
+Russ: Then we hooked up a tour with Kevin, one of the two brewers at Anacortes
©
+Russ: So yeah, we started the tour....
©
+Russ: First, the room with the mash tun and boiling wessel. It's a 7 barrel system.
©
+Russ: Then we popped into the next room
©
+Russ: malt down low...
©
+Russ: Then we headed to the fermentation room
©
+Russ: And ogled the 4 fermentors
©
+Russ: Oh Kevin, pose for a picture

+Russ: Then I snapped more pictures in the next room

+Russ: And caught up with the rest of the bunch in the walk in cooler

+Russ: This room is practically brand new, Summer looks impressed.

+Russ: This new cooler is part of an expansion.

+Russ: I took a quick peek in the hot box
©
+Russ: We stopped at the keg cleaning station
©
+Russ: And Keving went over filling kegs with tasty beer.
©
+Russ: The tour wasn't as serious as it looks.
©
+Russ: We rounded off the tour with a beer sample
©
+Russ: I peeked over at their fermentation temperature controller...
©
+Russ: And looked at soaking parts for the fermentors.
©
+Russ: Then we had some tasty IPA and talked more.
©

+Russ: Then we ended the tour, thanked Kevin and headed back into the bar.
