This is @sherrichalke's BEAUTIFUL quilt at the #fvmqg Creative Stitches show in Abbotsford at the Tradex. I didn't get get a chance to go this year but saw a sneak peak of it on Thursday. I was thrilled to see the talent displayed there. 💕

While testing my #controlfreak pattern, not only did @mischief_unmanaged power through tension issues and quality time with her seam ripper, she also added the perfect #donkeykong fabric to it. Happily it is now a lap quilt for her husband!

I started this at a @dsquilts workshop in 2012. I worked on it again at a @barbmort workshop in 2014. Last summer I had it quilted by @bevjfunk. I finally put the binding on it... it's All done 😊!

Houston we have a problem. I thought I'd turn a mini-ish quilt into a pillow. It's ginormous and stiff as a board (I used an upcycled cushion). This did not go as planned. Recalculating...
