Beach run #3: I ran north today, a quick 5K (return). It's cloudier and cooler today, but I didn't have to run into any strong winds. I call that a win. #cannonbeach

Beach run #2: I ran south today, 8km total. For the first half of the run I was all "Running while breathing cool ocean air feels so much easier than running while breathing dry desert air!" Then I turned around and had to run into the wind for 4km. #cann

I intended to read, but instead I sat and watched the sun set for forty minutes. The only sound I heard was the roar of the ocean. I'm not sure if you've ever done the same, but I highly recommend it. #cannonbeach
