I rode out to Elaine & Mauny at their Lake Farms campsite then together we rode back into town on the first day of our visit - here at Memorial Union by Lake Mendota. As usual, I accompanied them back to Lake Farms and then returned. 26-mile first day.

the Lake Monona Loop ride. I didn't have MapMyRide turned on so only can guess that the 20-mile Monona Loop added to our out and back Lake Farm connect had us at a 32- mile Monday. We spent the afternoon on foot on the Isthmus of downtown.

We stop at "Monona Bait & Ice Cream" while circumnavigating Lake Monona on the east side of Madison.

The world's best ice cream, full of dairy fat and made on the UW campus from the University herd. Wisconsin used to have a law prohibiting sale of ice cream containing less that a certain high percentage of dairy fat.
