With the help of the smoker, I harvested a whole cooler-full of honey from my ornery hive. Yay!

I saved some comb, but mashed the rest by hand to strain. Comb is surprisingly fragile - and quite fun to smoosh! Josh declined to join the sticky mess, but documented it for me instead.

My jerryrigged filtering mechanism: a colander with mosquito netting over our giant stew pot. Even that didn't contain it all, so there's also some in the metal strainer over a bowl. I put the lot in front of the oven on low (110F) since we don't have a g
