A circa-1960 Hitachi "Transistor 8" radio. Love the typography here and the salmon-colored plastic case (which might be Bakelite). The radio still works!

Typography crush: Vintage box for dad's 1950s analog voltmeter, made by Simpson Electric Co., which, apparently, is still in business. Voltmeter still works. :)
