kucheryavchik: We departed to the hottest place on Earth in the late afternoon, so that we avoid the June heat
kucheryavchik: The heat outside was bearable thanks to the a/c in the car

kucheryavchik: Our host took us to the desert with his Peugeot Pars - the luxurious of the affordable Iranian cars. The a/c was on, so the heat outside looked enjoyable
kucheryavchik: Our driver parked his car directly in the desert, away from the road. It'd be safer the farther away from the road we park, he said.
kucheryavchik: The sand is soft and free of snakes and scorpions, due to the unbearable summer heat

kucheryavchik: The car was out there, in the desert. When it turned dark, the driver turned off all the lights. So that the bypassing drug dealers do not see us, he commented. The drug trafficers drive from Pakistani border across the desert along the Kaluts
kucheryavchik: Here we met an Australian couple who were on a motorcycle road trip from their home to London across Eurasia. Iran was in the second half of their trip
