as jay, tim, dave and ivy had their chance

and finally candy was spewed across the lawn

and we didn't scramble to pick it up

all the reese's peanut butter cups were smushed

and we realized there were rats

with a few more swings the entire pinata fell to its death

and we were over the whole thing

well, we watched as they gathered candy

and started throwing it at us on the porch
