measi: Wild Bleeding Heart
measi: Garden
measi: I missed picking a couple onions last autumn!
measi: Garlic chives from my grandmother's fields. I'm planning on putting them out in the yard so they can naturalize into the bare patches in our grass.
measi: Maple from my grandmother's yard. I'll plant this sometime later this summer.
measi: Our neighbor has fabulous onions growing in their back corner. They stand knee height.
measi: Bird bath - Mom gave this to me for my birthday this year.
measi: Tons and tons of day lilies. These are now thigh height. The blooms will be taller than me (I'm 5'5")
measi: Hydrangea (center and right corner), creeping thyme and day lilies
measi: Bleeding heart - I'll be moving this in the next couple days because I think it's getting too much sun.
measi: We have TONS of lily of the valley. Anywhere we have a shady spot or a shrub, there's some of it growing underneath.
measi: Front bed
measi: The hell strip experiment
measi: creeping phlox in the hell strip
measi: wild violets in the hell strip (we have a bunch in our yard)

measi: We have tons of lilac blossoms this year!
measi: The big maple tree behind our house. Tons of lily of the valley underneath it.
measi: Looking from the front of the driveway into the side yard.
measi: Ostrich fern I brought back from my grandmother's last spring. I'm hoping these will eventually fill in this bare area.
measi: We lost one tree this year. It's a huge old maple. :(
measi: Woodpecker holes at the top of the tree - I think there's a family living in the lower one (slightly obscured by the branch)
measi: Virginia Creeper climbing up the maple trees
measi: My perennial herb garden. I haven't done any weeding yet this year - but it's coming in nicely.
