The moment at last - Erica Kearney cuts the ribbon to announce the new May Center School in West Springfield officially open.

The crowd of over 100 guests started gathering in the parking lot before the event even began. Once the Ribbon Cutting was complete, everyone was welcomed in to see our new school space and visit their child's room.

Staff enjoy sharing their new school with their own families as well as those of the students.

Everyone who attended today was asked to add their own thumbprint to our visitor tree.

A full catered meal was provided during the open house.

Each inch of the school was examined and explored, including the extensive book collection in our library.

The tour included a favorite spot, our very first gymnasium, one of the many new features to support our students.

And as the party wound down the staff took moments to eat and enjoy each other's company.
