maryalicephotos: Yesterday I fortunately had the day off, so I drove up to Brentwood and hit up some of the u pick farms. Now we have white nectarines and white peaches, strawberries, and blackberries.
maryalicephotos: And last but not least dessert: alpine and regular strawberries w a mint curd and salad burnet plus truffles, toasted marshmallows, and pumpkin seed brittle w Bday candle. It was a wonderful birthday dinner.
maryalicephotos: Next courses: fish--clam w green tomato, smoked butter, trout, and clam broth; quail w artichoke and green garlic; beef with morels, English peas, and bernaise sauce; and of course a cheese course w fromage blanc, calendula, and Meyer lemon meringue.
