Martinke_H: This morning bear is busy. What are you doing? "I'm knitting a woolen scarf", said Bear. "It's freezing where I go!"
Martinke_H: And bear worked hard this morning. I think he's ready for the icy North. Lets pack and go.
Martinke_H: Just before leaving, bear received a letter with an important drawing inside!
Martinke_H: It was the beautiful original drawing by @sabineneuteboom .Bear regretted a little he'd to leave now. When would he start to build his car?
Martinke_H: On the road again. To the airport. For a week full of flights and hotels, in the very northern Europe. See you later friends.
Martinke_H: Good morning friends. I'm in an airport in Paris. Lots of flight cancelled, mine still boadring. Fingers crossed. See ya.
Martinke_H: Bear went to Oslo's seashore, in fact a Fjord, and saw there was ice on the water!
Martinke_H: Bear always loves open water, but this time he was puzzled about the frozen sea...and sat down looking over the ice.
Martinke_H: Bear stared for over one hour over the ice, and when I asked him what he was doing, he hoped to see a white bear, and perhaps a little seal.
Martinke_H: But after one hour, nobody arrived! Bear had an icy cold back, and was very disappointed! Poor bear...
Martinke_H: The last day in Oslo, Bear studied a sculpture near the hotel. Who is she? He asked
Martinke_H: It's a lookalike of Anderson's mermaid bear. You'll see the real one tomorrow in Copenhagen on a shore.
Martinke_H: Next day bear visited the real mermaid in Copenhagen but he's too small so doesn't appear on the picture. Bear worried about the cold. And was sad...
Martinke_H: Barely arrived at home, Bear climed on this chair and shouted:" hey, come on with the story of the mermaid!" He hadn't even taken off his cap...
Martinke_H: We found the thick book with the stories of H.C. Andersen. Bear made himself comfortable, and looked for the story of the little Mermaid...
Martinke_H: Bear found it, started reading and exclaimed halfway the fairy tale: "what a sad story." With a sigh he read on and said a moment later: "and now she sits in the cold and snow on that rock forever..."
Martinke_H: I tried to console Bear and said it was just a fairy tale. "That makes the whole so sad", snobbed Bear. "We can't change anything."
Martinke_H: Oh, Bear, don't be sad. Fairy tales are just so nice, because they are fairy tales. Just as you are a Bear!...
Martinke_H: Come on, think of something more pleasant. You received the drawing of your new car, remember! Bear forgot about the mermaid and started dreaming of his new car.
