LZ Creations: It's 10:00 am, time for the marathon to begin!
LZ Creations: This is what the paper sees when I draw. lol
LZ Creations: One hour down, only eleven more to go.
LZ Creations: I was able to finish my sketch within the first hour allowing me plenty of time to color.
LZ Creations: The first layer of colors are added to the file with my photo reference to the side.
LZ Creations: I see said the mouse.
LZ Creations: BAM!!! Shading and highlighting does wonders to a flat image.
LZ Creations: Power Hour 2 - DC Hour
LZ Creations: All of our sketches during this second Power Hour are going to be DC characters.
LZ Creations: The first hour was Marvel Hour, but since nobody else was there to document the first hour we only have pics from DC Hour.
LZ Creations: David is going to town on his Wonder Woman sketch.
LZ Creations: Great thing about drawing body parts is you always have a reference.
LZ Creations: Notice our old school timer in between us on the table. That's what kept us on track.
LZ Creations: David's rendition of Aquaman.
LZ Creations: Adding the finishing touches to Martian Manhunter.
LZ Creations: Power Hour makes me go a little crazy.
LZ Creations: But not nearly as bad as David. lol
LZ Creations: How do you like Mickey's new hair-do?
LZ Creations: Local comic book artist, Rob Jones, joined in on the fun and donated all the artwork to our cause.
LZ Creations: Several hours into the marathon and I'm about halfway done with the coloring.
LZ Creations: And David said, "Let there be pants."
