As Midtown becomes a more desirable area, Detroit LISC is preserving affordable housing for existing resident and students in new developments.

LISC provided pre-development financing for Henry Ford Health Systems to extend their campus into Midtown with a renovation that will include 32 affordable housing units.
Local Initiatives:
LISC is employing the Building Sustainable Communities strategy. On a weeklong block cleanup, volunteers helped renovate 36 homes, clean 65 blocks, and build a brand new house!
