kpaigel: Huc Bridge (Morning Sunlight Bridge)
kpaigel: I heart dragons.
kpaigel: It's like a treasure hunt. I keep seeing these little dioramas all over the city.
kpaigel: I've seen several of these books around town. Some of made with flowers. I think this one says, Happy 1000th birthday Hanoi!
kpaigel: As if I couldn't see you, lê chất.
kpaigel: Lush tropicals, everywhere!
kpaigel: I was sitting on a bench near this friendly kitty, watching tourists cross the bridge to get to the temple. Japanese, Frenchies, Germans, Aussies--you name it. Every nationality that saw this cat started meowing at her. See, we're not so different.
kpaigel: Tortoise Tower (Thap Rua)
kpaigel: wall art
kpaigel: Street food!
kpaigel: Sundays are wedding photography day in Hanoi.
kpaigel: She's my favorite!
kpaigel: I saw no fewer than 100 brides having photos taken around the city last week.
kpaigel: So many brides/grooms, they have multiple photoshoots going on at once.
kpaigel: Photography assistant and hat holder.
kpaigel: Hoa Lo Prison (The Hanoi Hilton)
kpaigel: View into one of the cells at Hoa Lo
kpaigel: I have a fascination with abandonned institutions. Hoa La did not disappoint on the creepiness and historically interesting fronts.
kpaigel: Memorial garden. There were just a dozen or so people visiting the prison at the same time as me--adding to its spookiness.
kpaigel: John McCain's recovered flight gear.
