Lion cub Nyack had a very rough start to his life. Born on December 6th, both of his siblings died and his mother stopped caring for little Nyack. Without a mom to take care of him, he would have to be hand raised by the staff at the Wild Animal Park.

Lion cubs Ingozi and Laini flank their new permanent resident little cousin Nyack seen by some of the public for the first time Saturday. Unlike Koza, Nyack will be able to learn what it is to be a lion with lions.

The action highlight of the day was Kamakazi "Ekundu" running full speed and leaping onto his mom and then flipping over and doing a somersault

Ekundu looked pretty proud of himself after the spectacular leap. Not sure what his mom thought of the stunt but we all enjoyed it!
