kjdrill: Vus'musi (vuss-MOO-see), a male elephant, was the first calf born to the rescued Swazi herd in February 2004 to the female Ndlulamitsi (n-DOO-lah-mit-see).
kjdrill: As the first baby born to this herd, this is one special elephant! His name means “to build a family,” a name that is often given to a family’s firstborn child in Swaziland
kjdrill: Vus'Musi with Impunga in the swimming hole. Vus'musi was fathered by a bull culled in Swaziland because the bull was involved in the death of endangered rhinos.
