Keach: We then hiked about a mile to Slate Lick Lake.

Keach: We saw a big water wheel, too.

Keach: We live at the top of a hill in Virginia. You might be able to see a mountain through the trees.

Keach: We enjoyed the view across a field with mountains in the distance. That's the same mountain ridge we can see from our yard.

Keach: We discovered that the store has an old park behind the building.

Keach: Flat Stanley sat on one of the trains.

Keach: Our dog Gypsy went on the hike, too!

Keach: Then we went to a country store and restaurant in West Virginia. The store sold groceries, hardware, gifts, and also served food at a big counter.

Keach: On another day, we went for a hike near our house.
