Katorina: A Beautiful Close to a Wonderful Day!
Katorina: Deer at night fall
Katorina: These deer were probably from that same herd of 14 that we saw earlier in the day.
Katorina: Looking down into it, the rocks looked stacked, no trace of adobe holding them together, hmm...
Katorina: Here is the old building from the side of it. The ledge that it was on was wider than it looked.
Katorina: Closer view of the dwelling.
Katorina: Our first REAL domicile. Super Secret Back Up Support Agent spotted this up on a hillside above the road.
Katorina: Wonder if that figure on the bottom has a gun or if that's a stick? (or what it really is out of the millions of possibilities?)
Katorina: I like the different colors on the rock face and the gracefulness of the sheep to the right.
Katorina: I like the sense of motion in the sheep being chased by the hunter.
Katorina: Looks just like a postcard.
Katorina: This had the weirdest look, like a giant mushroom house in the desert.
Katorina: This is like the patio of the cave home
Katorina: Another small "room" to the right before you exit.
Katorina: Coming out the other side, about 40 feet away.
Katorina: Simple tool inside the cave.
Katorina: Looking to the right. Looked like a rat's nest to the right.
Katorina: Wonder if this was used to straighten arrow shafts?
Katorina: Looking to the left in the cave. Wonder how many feet of dirt and debris had filled this area?
Katorina: You can see the light coming in from an opening between more boulders.
Katorina: There were about 3-4 different ways to get in or out. It reminded me of where cave people might have lived in the WAY old days.
Katorina: There was a set of hollows under a giant rock/hill.
Katorina: Oops, Another buffalo!
Katorina: Wonder if those are spears sticking out of the buffalo?
Katorina: Closer view of the right side of the panel
Katorina: The lichen has eaten some of them, but the buffalo is goregous. That's the only one I saw.
Katorina: There were loads of figures that were too faint to be seen well, anymore.
Katorina: Modern crap has almost obliterated the originals
Katorina: Details of "The Great Hunt"
Katorina: The Great Hunt, probably the most famous panel in the park.
