It's 50 degrees and sprinkling rain but the outdoor pool temp is 85 degrees and Kylie is happy to be swimming.

I braided a loop waterfall braid in Kylie's hair this morning. She said it lasted about an hour at school. And now I remember why I don't do waterfall braids. But it looked really pretty when I snapped this picture.

Kylie showed us how she learned to draw faces by drawing an oval & then bisecting the oval with lines. And then using the lines to position the eyes, nose and mouth. A big step up from stick figure faces. Way to go art class! And way to go Kylie!

She's an exhausted lump barely hanging on the edge of the pool. Very hard swim team practice on Tuesday.

Kylie caught a couple if waves before I convinced her it was too cold. Afterwards, she found some great shells.

Zoo camp today. Kylie said the best part was when the handlers dipped the feet of 2 turtles into paint & let them walk around on paper "painting it". She got a piece of the painting to bring home.

Kylie is wearing a Bolles Soles4Souls bracelet that she got for donating 4 pairs of old shoes to the school shoe drive. Plus, Kylie & her friends have been obsessed with Skippy PB. There have been several funny stories about it.

Cheering for our DailyMile friend Bari as she runs the beach portion of the half marathon "26.2 with Donna Finish Breast Cancer". I had the best time yelling for everyone. The other side of my sign read "AWESOME" for all the other runners.

We are all piled onto Momma Karen. She can barely hold the iPad. Both cats are sitting on her too!
