Jooliree: 1. Walk across the field to milk the goats just as the sun rises on our self-sufficientish small-holding in Central France..
Jooliree: 2. Milking Katy - we have four milking goats , I make cheese and occasionally yoghurt .
Jooliree: 5. Splitting logs too big to lift before stacking them to dry for two years before use.
Jooliree: 3. Going to work in the woods. We have 4 acres of woodland where we coppice Sweet Chestnut, mainly, for sustainable carbon neutral firewood , building material and fence posts etc .
Jooliree: 6. Another productive day- rewarded by a well-earned beer. You can just make out the ring of upright posts in the background which are the start of a roundhouse , this will have walls of wattle and daub and a reciprocal frame roof .
