A long weekend, so we decided to get started with this whole Kenya thing nice and early.

We ere invited by Ryan and Kendi to Samburu, which I'd never heard of.

And there, we saw animals. This is an impala.

And this, of course, is a giraffe.

This was Nia's very first safari.

One of the reasons we moved to Africa.

And she had a fabulous time.

And a first for me and Lorena: a cheetah.

Next day, and we're up bright and early for more adventures :)

We drove down to the other side of the river for today's safari.

These are grevy's zebras, which I'm told are only found in Samburu.

We see a very big elephant coming straight for the car!
