jimonthemove:
This summer's adventure started last week in New York.
jimonthemove:
We arrived on July 4th, which apparently is a thing.
jimonthemove:
So, naturally, we went out.
jimonthemove:
And gatecrashed somebody's roof.
jimonthemove:
Fireworks happened.
jimonthemove:
It was cool.
jimonthemove:
Nili was with us.
jimonthemove:
New York applauded.
jimonthemove:
Next day, a trip to the museum.
jimonthemove:
It was a bit rubbish.
jimonthemove:
When I was a kid, museums were full of old stuff..
jimonthemove:
I liked that. It was where you went to see old stuff. These days, museums are full of representations of old stuff, and endless posters explaining what is being represented.
jimonthemove:
Not real dinosaur bones.
jimonthemove:
Central Park is always gorgeous.
jimonthemove:
We went to the Nuyorican Soul Cafe for a poetry slam. Very coooooool.
jimonthemove:
We stayed in Brooklyn.
jimonthemove:
It was crazy hot and humid the whole time.
jimonthemove:
That's it, really.
jimonthemove:
We also stumbled upon Times Square on the way back from the pub.
jimonthemove:
The end.
jimonthemove:
After New York, we headed up to Canada.
