bubbaisme: 3.5" ZZP pulley--Boost now will come on about 1500 RPM lower and with less throttle opening. I wasn't attempting to make more power but with the light weight of the car I had to have a very large throttle opening to get any boost with the stock 3.8" .
bubbaisme: New 3.5" SC pulley replaced 3.8" stock pulley. I have seen 11 lbs. of boost and it does make more power but the main thing is it is much more drivable with the 3.5".
bubbaisme: Modular hub from ZZP so I can change pulleys in a few minutes with no puller needed. Changing pulleys will also require a different belt. Vacuum lines are clamped down with ty wraps because they also see up to 11 lbs. of pressure. I did have one blow off
bubbaisme: Puller from ZZP to remove and install pulleys.$110 or you can rent it from ZZP with a $110 deposit.
bubbaisme: Quite the heavy duty puller. It also pushes on the new modular hub. Bar on the right is just long enough to contact frame so I didn't have to hold it against the 1/2" drive ratchet I am using.
bubbaisme: The final configuration--for now--maybe
bubbaisme: This might be the final configuration for the routing of lines and stuff under the hood. Blue line going thru the firewall is for boost gauge. It is teed off of line to fuel pressure regulater.
bubbaisme: heat shields from above. Since cut down smaller and edges fitted with trim like the hood edge in the cockpit.
bubbaisme: Supercharger is getting better but still more to do. Polishing the SC was fairly easy. I used some small buffing wheels on an air powered die grinder for some but mostly Blue Coral on a rag by hand.
bubbaisme: The start of a never ending polishing job? Will probably let it go natural after a while. After 36 months it has stayed shinny with just an occasional wipe down. If I want it shinier I use some more Blue Coral.
