bubbaisme: larger wind wing. Attempting to block some of the swirling vortex in the cockpit.I don't like the way it looks but if it works--Outside mirror w/6" extension. Works very good.
bubbaisme: Very solid, no shake, can see where I need to.
bubbaisme: Can reach the mirror to adjust from the seat. Radyot replica spun aluminum mirror.
bubbaisme: I kind of like it but it vibrated like crazy and was worthless to see behind the car beacause of the blur.
bubbaisme: Try # 5. Vibrated way too much.
bubbaisme: Trouble is the windshield upright is not stiff enough and the mirror vibrates badly.. Would need more bracing for the upright. More thoughts?
bubbaisme: Sideview mirror mounting. This gets the mirror high enough to be of some use. Also gets it out far enough to see past rear fender. A little to bulky looking but it did work great.
bubbaisme: # 4 rendition for side rearview mirror. Previous renditions in earlier photos.
bubbaisme: interior mirror from an early 60's MGA. The mirror base now has a 1/2" thick rubber isolater under it to stop vibration in the mirror. The mirror will also rotate 180* to make it higher.
bubbaisme: I don't remember the mirror being so small. After 18 months I don't notice how small it is because it "sees" perfectly out between the seat backs.
bubbaisme: #1 attempt. Raydyot mirror-No that is not a misspell. Yes it does have a"y" in there. Does not project out far enough, nice view of rear fender, though.
bubbaisme: Replica of the famous '60's race mirror. Found a real one on e-bay for $250. Found the replicas for 1/3 of that which is still to much but I've wanted one since my 1st MGA and couldn't afford one.
bubbaisme: rearview mirror mount #4 Which do you like best?
bubbaisme: Try # 6. How about this? Have been using this for 2 years and it works good.
