The Old Stalbridge Yard on the former Somerset and Dorset Railway. The only thing that suggests a Railway ran through Stalbridge is the former Buffer Depot Siding seen on the 19th November 2010.

The only two things that suggest a Railway passed through Blandford Forum, the Buffer Stop and a sign saying 'Railway' seen on the 12th November 2010.

Looking towards Bath under the first Road Bridge from the former Station site on the 12th November 2010. Just imagine, many years ago a 9F would have passed under this bridge with a Heavy Freight Train bound for Bath or Bournemouth respectively.

Charlton Marshall Railway Halt stands in amongst trees and bushes on the trackbed of the Old Somerset and Dorset Railway on the 26th October 2010. It is hard to imagine that Freight and Passenger Trains used to pass along this route daily.
