After 3 days, 8 states, 1,760 miles, one overheated engine scare, and several bugs on the windshield, we have reached Temecula, CA. Tomorrow, our new house. ✌️❤️

Today was a long, challenging day of travel, and as per usual, we're behind schedule. But on the plus side, it meant we got to drive through New Mexico & Arizona as the sun set, and my goodness is that a breathtaking experience.

Pulled into Austin later than we would've liked (thanks, Houston traffic) so we didn't have much time to explore, but I got a little taste of the city and I must say: I'm hooked. Really, really hope I get the chance to go back and hang out there one day.

The house is packed up, shipped out and empty, the car is all loaded & the Bodes are shipping out of Pensacola. I'll be back for the first 10 days of July so I'll save my big goodbye for then, but for now: see ya, Florida. 😎✌

True to our traveling luck, our flight this afternoon got delayed and now we don't fly out until 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. But that does mean we have 12 more hours in this state, so, that works. 😊
