First leg of the trip to Chicago. We have assured Alen this is the smallest plane on this vacation.

Sadly, for some reason, two of us didn't get a California Roll. The salad was good though and the tomatoes were very fresh. Business class in United.

Hotel Shin-Osaka. Our one night here until we head to Hiroshima tomorrow. Very conveniently located next to the Shin Osaka station.

Sweet and savoury. The long one is potato bacon and cheese. The pastry I have had two days in a row. Light and fluffy with delicious cream filling, I could eat daily, it is heaven with cream on top.
Steven I:
This looks cute and harmless. But when you interrupt a dear eating his daily does of paper you almost get kicked. What was more awesome is that as tourists stand around taking pics, a rickshaw driver came over to clean up the paper.
Steven I:
We are in the dark wood Shinkansen from Hiroshima to Osaka. This train was a little more busy so we didn't get to sit together.
