On the road again, We're retracing our route back toward Anchorage where we'll stop for lunch before proceeding to the McKinley Princess Lodge tonight.

Thanks to eagle eyed Caroline we're pulled off at a rest stop and watching a line of Dahl sheep climb up the rocks near the center of the picture.

Pardon the reflections, but while we were pulled off at the rest stop an Alaska Rails train went by. Have to take pictures of trains; it's the rule!

Enjoying a walk around downtown Anchorage, we noted that this food truck in a parking lot seemed to be THE PLACE!

Yay! We made it to Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. This waterfall/creek was just outside our building which is at left in the picture..

Angie at Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. Our first afternoon was blessed with good weather, but rain set in on the second day.

The Lodge is decorated for Christmas. As it closes down for the season about the 19th of September, employees celebrate early.

The view toward where Mt. McKinley/Denali is supposed to be. We were told that only about 30% of visitors actually see the mountain. We did not see Denali.
