gttexas: Looking out our "obstructed view" window at Royal Caribbean's Radiance of the Seas which has evidently just arrived.
gttexas: At Skagway there had been a landslide just beside the pier near the cliff with all the ship's grafitti on it. As a result tenders were used to transport passengers from the ship into town. The wind was blowing like crazy and we elected to stay aboard.
gttexas: For years we've seen the cliff next to the pier and its grafitti from a multitude of ships.
gttexas: From the ship's top deck you can see the town of Skagway and the ship's tender (orange near the center of the picture) used to take passengers into town.

gttexas: Rather than brave the weather, We found a quiet, secluded spot up on the 15th deck and settled in to read.
